It is over five month ago when Sombath Somphone disappeared on the public streets of Vientiane. The CCTV footage recording the last minutes of Sombath remains the only wittness of his fade away. Apart from that, there is no single new clue neither from the Lao government nor other people.
Nevertheless Sombath’s case found interest around the world and a lot of people do not accept his unwilling lost. Well, hope springs eternal and so I still hope for his save return home. Nevertheless his former organization PADETC continues with his fantastic work to build access to education for all Lao communities and the younger generation.
